Q: What are sabotages?
A: Sabotages are activated by using Bits, Dontations & Subs and effect the gameplay in various ways! You’ll find the full list of sabotages below!

Q: What kind of Playthrough are you doing?
A: This is not a speedrun, and we won’t be going for 100%, this will be an Any% Casual playthrough, the sabotages, however, will definitely throw a wrench in this play session!

Q: What do my Subscriptions do?
A: In addition to being a great way to support the channel, Subs on Twitch will unlock the Delfino Plaza Shines, including the “Lilypad Shine” and the “Pachinko Machine” among others. These shines are technically entirely optional, but if we hit our subscription goals we’ll take the extra time to do some of the hardest shines in the game. The goals can be found below!

Q: Uhh….what are “Bits”? WHAT ARE ALERTS???
A: The alerts are special sound effect & music tracks that you can activate at any time by making a contribution to the channel through subscriptions, direct monetary donations through the link located below the stream window and also bits here on Twitch. Bits are a form of Twitch currency that can be bought and then used to “cheer” on a streamer, each “bit” is worth one cent for the streamer, meaning that 100 Bits = $1.

Sabotages / Incentives:

”Sticky Note” for 1000 Bits / $10 Tip

• SOLD OUT (No More Sticky Notes)

“Hot Pepper” for 1500 Bits / $15 Tip

• SOLD OUT (No More Peppers)

“Rewind” for 2000 Bits / $20 Tip

• Josh must redo the most recent shine he’s obtained, up to one extra time.

• If used with good timing, you could easily screw Josh out of obtaining his current shine to go and redo the previous shine!

• Encouraged to be used after difficult shine challenges for extra lols

“Hoverless” for 3000 Bits / $30 Tip

• Activate HOVERLESS MODE for 10 minutes, challenging Josh to complete the given task without being able to use the hover nozzle AT ALL. This sabotage can be stacked up to as many times as you want!

“Chopsticks” for 4000 Bits / $40 Tip

• For some reason Josh thought it would be a good idea to let you pay to make him play with chopsticks in his right hand for 10 minutes.

• Yes, this does mean that he would have to: Jump, Spray Water, Switch Nozzles, and Dive Jump entirely with chopsticks.

• Yes, this is as ridiculous as it sounds.

• Yes, this can be paired with Hoverless Mode for maximum pain.

“All of the Above” for 10,000 Bits / $100 Tip

• Force Josh to perform ALL OF THE SABOTAGES AT ONCE!!

• Saves $15 over activating them all separately!

• Josh will put your name on his background with disgust.
  

Subscription Goals:

100 Subs = Unlock Plaza Shines Get ✔

• Delfino Plaza has many unique, and some difficult shines including the “Lilypad Shine” and the “Pachinko Machine” and they are all optional! Reaching this sub goal will force Josh to obtain them all.

200 Subs = Unlock Half Blue Coins Get ✔

• Blue coins are a challenging collectable hidden in various places across the island, collecting them nets the player some Shines. However, this quest is entirely optional and not required in the slightest to finish the game!

• There are a total of 240 Blue Coins and if we hit this goal, Josh will get half of them. This will extend the length of the stream considerably!

300 Subs = Unlock ALL Blue Coins Get

• Some of these blue coins are a fuckin’ bitch, dude.

Stretch Goals:

400 Subs = Back to Sunshine Speedruns

• Josh used to speedrun Super Mario Sunshine a wee bit, reaching this collective sub goal within the stream time will afford the opportunity for me to return to speedrunning for a month! This will guarantee weekly runs of the game for the entire month of November!

500 Subs = Unlock Chaos Edition

• Super Mario Sunshine has a “Chaos Edition” inspired by the one for SM64 and Josh will play it on an upcoming live stream!

• This hack features random, terrible effects like glitchy textures, glitchy mario movement, random teleportation and other awful things that make the game INCREDIBLY difficult to play, but may result in some lols from the audience.
